Bucatini is one of my favorite pasta shapes. I don’t know why… if you are not familiar, it is long like spaghetti but has a hole down the middle like macaroni. The meat sauce I made with left over ground sirloin and lamb that I had in the freezer and the last of my kale.
Have I mentioned how much I love kale? If you haven’t had any in awhile pick some up this week and wilt some into your pasta sauce or soup just before it is done. Fresh, healthy, tasty and even kind of hidden if you or others in your home tend to fear green leafy vegetables.
