Last weekend I went to visit the parental units, …now I live in a small apartment so don’t have anywhere to grill, therefore I talked them into buying mass quantites of asparagus and flank steak. We made Marinated and Grilled Flank Steak with Lime-chipotle Sauce, and Grilled Asparagus with Olive Oil and Pecorino Cheese. (John Ash’s Earth to the Table) We did go light on the chipotle and cilantro and it was still lovely. Grilling asparagus is just my very most favorite way to cook it.
So… the next night we made Penne with Grilled Asparagus and Tomatoes. (also John Ash’s Earth to the Table) I did forget to take a pic of that, it was a good simple pasta for a summer day.
